Grow Food, Grow Money? "Food For Thought"

"Food." Food is not a choice. We have to have it to survive.

"Money", something we all love and need.  Do you ever have enough?

We have a choice of what types of food we eat but we don't always have a choice of where it comes from.
Either we have to buy it or grow it ourselves.
If we have no money, then we need to buy money. "That's a strange thought", but isn't that what we do?
We actually buy money to have the things we need. It's called credit! And with credit we pay interest on the money we borrow.

If we don't want to buy money then we need to grow it ourselves. How do we do that? A garden? Investment? Work!
If we don't want to grow a garden ourselves or prepare food ourselves; we have to pay someone else to do it for us.
What a vicious circle this act of survival is! I think what it all comes down to is freedom of choice. What do you think?
We have the right to make the decisions in our own life that we feel would be best for our self and our family.
 Ask yourself a couple questions:
1. How important is your health to you?
2. How important is your families health to you?
Once you answer those questions you will have an idea of what your goals are. What to work towards: Now you need a plan to get there! What path will you choose?
Work is hard but it is good for you. There is nothing like it.

Nothing is worth while or gives you the incredible feeling of accomplishment and self worth than working towards your goals and reaching them!
What kind of work do you want to do. What do you want to accomplish today?
Each day reach one small goal and you will have a wonderful life.

One needs to be healthy to work hard and one needs to eat right to be healthy.
Stay positive. It is easy to do if you work hard towards your goals. You may not reach every goal immediately, everyday, but everyday you work towards your goal is a day closer to achievement.
If you choose to allow others to do the work for you, taking the easy way. Life just doesn't seem as good.

Find Self Help Here Today

At one time or another we all need help with something. One person might need help with finances: some people need help with their own daily affairs. No matter what you need help with, there is always a way to make your life simpler and more enjoyable.
Sometimes the help you need is right at your fingertips. All you need is good credit.

Help isn't always about money though. Sometimes people just need guidance. You can ask help from others, or you can use other resources: like books.
There are plenty of self help books that can answer many of your questions  and give guidance on how to solve  problems. They can refer you to someone, if you need further help.
Books are great!
There are books on how to do specific things or books just for entertainment. Whatever you can think of , I bet  there is a book about it.
You don't have to even buy them, you can just check them out at your local library or youcan read E-books on your computor. Whatever it is you want to know, help is right in front of you. Be sure to take advantage of your free resources.
Reach out for what you want, take responsibility for yourself, research your options! That is what "Self Help" is all about.
Be there for someone else and share your knowledge.
If you share what you know, others will be happy to share with you.
The more knowledge we have, the more fun it is to share it with someone else.

Now for a helpful tip from:

Zap bleeding from shaving cuts:
Ouch! You just cut yourself shaving and you've no time to spare. Just dab a bit of lip balm directly onto the nick and the bleeding from most shaving cuts will quickly stop.

I'll be back with more helpful tips as time permits!

Helpful Tips: Make Life a Little Easier

  1.   Make use of your old envelopes-Are you bothered by trying to shred those small receipts from your everyday purchases? The best way to get rid of receipts that may have your credit card number or other personal information on them, is to shred them. Feeding tiny receipts into a shredder is tedious. Instead of doing that, place all the old receipts into a few old envelopes and shred the envelopes!
  2. Another helpful tip for you to use around your home: We all have to clean the refrigerator once in awhile, right. We all have to do it sometime! After removing all the food racks from the fridge, mix up a handful of salt in one gallon or so of warm water and use it with a sponge to clean the inside of the refrigerator. The mixture isn't abrasive, so it won't scratch and you won't be introducing chemical fumes or odors.
  3.  Unstick a drawer If you have a desk or chest drawer that sticks, remove it and rub a candle on the runners. The drawer will open more smoothly when you slip it back in place.
  4. Make a dehumidifier- Do you have a humid closet, attic, basement or restroom? Get rid of all that humidity with several homemade dehumidifiers. To make one, just put some charcoal briquettes in a coffee can, punch a few holes in the lid, and place in the humid areas. Replace the charcoal every few months.
  5. Zap bleeding from shaving cuts: Ouch! You just cut yourself shaving and you've no time to spare. Just dab a bit of lip balm directly onto the nick and the bleeding from most shaving cuts will quickly stop.

Learn about our United States Presidents here

Abraham Lincoln was the Sixteenth President of the United States in the year 1861. He was born in Kentucky. His family was poor and lived in a one room log cabin. He only went to school for one year, but he learned how to read, write, and solve Math problems. He spent much of his free time reading books. When he was very young, Mr. Lincoln's family moved to Springfield, Illinois. He had many different jobs, including Storekeeper, Lawyer, and Senator.
During Lincolns Presidency, people of the north were fighting against people from the South in the civil war. In 1863, Mr. Lincoln gave a famous speech in Gettysburg. where he said he was very sad to see the people of his country fighting against each other. He also ended Slavery in the south because he believed all men should be Free. In 1865 the Civil War was over and Lincoln had brought peace to our country.
Shortly after the war ended, Lincoln and his wife went to Ford's Theater to watch a play. John Wilkes Booth snuck into the theater and assassinated  Lincoln.
Our nation lost a Hero that day.
